A Strategic Expansion
Nostra’s new cybersecurity hub is not just a win for the company but a significant boost to the local economy in Galway. The Dublin-headquartered IT services and consulting firm is offering roles for professional services engineers, cybersecurity, and IT support professionals at all levels.
“It has been a really exciting year for Nostra, having secured investment and completed a number of key acquisitions. As we prepare to embark on the next step of our journey, we are delighted to unveil our brand-new office in Galway,” – Kevin O’Loughlin, Nostra co-founder and CEO.
Investment and Job Creation
These 35 new roles are part of a wider initiative that will see Nostra creating a total of 100 jobs across Ireland, the UK, Bulgaria, and South Africa. This has been made possible by a strategic partnership with UK-based investment firm, Phoenix Equity Partners, aimed at propelling Nostra to increase its revenue five-fold to €250m within five years.
“We have big ambitions for the years ahead and our talented team in Galway will be central to achieving those goals,” added O’Loughlin.
A Future-Proof Cybersecurity Hub
The Galway office isn’t just another location for Nostra; it’s a specialized cybersecurity hub designed to tackle the increasingly complex challenges businesses face in the digital age.
“Companies are facing increasingly complex challenges in the cybersecurity area and Nostra wants to stay at the forefront of the market to offer best-in-class security to our customers,” O’Loughlin said.
The Road Ahead
Nostra’s journey doesn’t stop here. With three acquisitions already completed in 2023 and plans for more before year-end, the firm is on a rapid growth trajectory.
O’Loughlin shared his optimistic outlook on the future of Nostra, backed by a robust partnership with Phoenix Equity:
“We have ambitions to grow significantly over the coming years both organically and through acquisition.”
